Well I am done recovering from surgery and back to my regular schedule...which is busy, busy, busy. I am not officially released from doctor's care until Monday and can't lift anything for a few more weeks. I have been cleaning and organizing since I have some time off to do so. I have missed a few days of Katie's blogging challenge so I am going to try to catch up.
Day 21: Picture of yourself
I am not really a big fan of taking pictures by myself so all of my pictures have my friends or family in them.
I will share a few pictures with you...
I found one of me by myself...This was before we went to a party in Dallas.
This is my Mom and I on a hike to Linville Falls, NC.
My parents and I at New River Gorge Bridge, WV.
Katelyn and I at a cooking class.
There are a few pictures of me!
Day 22: Favorite City
I have a few cities that I love. I know that when I finally make it to New York City that it will be my all time favorite city but until then here are a few of my favorite cities.
The Big "D"
Dallas, Texas
I love this city!
Home of the Dallas Cowboys!!
I could spend all day in the Galleria Mall in downtown Dallas.
I love visiting Southlake, TX. This cute little city sits about 20 min from Dallas and I hope to one day call it home. Above is the Southlake Town Center. It is a cute little square with all of the best shops, the Southlake Courthouse, doctor's offices, businesses, movie theater, hotels and The Cheesecake Factory! (my favorite)
This is the main reason I love this city! I love see...
these sweet people running out to greet us! This is my brother's brother (I know, it's confusing) and he moved his family to the Dallas/ Ft. Worth area. We miss them very much but they love their life in Texas.
Also in this neighborhood is...
Jason Witten's from the Dallas Cowboys house (he was actually born and played high school football about 10 miles from Bristol, TN where I'm from)
We also love to go over to Fort Worth to the Stockyards. It is so much fun!
As you can see Texas holds a special place in my heart and I love every single visit. I hope that if you have never been that you go one day!
My other favorite cities are
Savannah, Georgia
Key West, Florida
Atlanta, Georgia
Nashville, Tennessee
Washington, DC
Day 23: Favorite Vacation
I am going to use the above post as my favorite vacation. I have been many tropical places that I love either by plane or on a cruise. I have many vacation pictures that I will share with you one day but I am still working on transferring my pictures from my pc to the Mac.
I will share a few more pics from my travels to Texas...
Me on my first Longhorn.
We spend a lot of time in the pool....because it is sooo HOT!
Neighborhood Block Parties!
Watching football games...
and practicing gymnastics!
Day 24: Something I Have Learned
I am only 24 years old so I have a lot left to learn in life but a few things I have learned over the years are...
Patience
Love
My life is not up to me
The joys of shopping
Being an adult is not easy
I would never go back to high school
My love for cooking
The importance of good friends
My mom is always right (she tried to tell me along time ago)
My parents will always love me unconditionally
My future husband is out there somewhere I just have to be patient (Ok maybe I haven't always learned to be patient!)
I was made to be a Mom
and most importantly...
Everything Happens for a Reason!
Well I am finally caught up! I will be back later to post What I'm Loving and to share pictures from the concert this weekend!
Have a Great Afternoon!
