Happy Tuesday ya'll!

Well it is still snowing in Tennessee...I don't think that it is ever going to stop! I absolutely cannot wait till March....I am counting down the days....literally! 66 days...My sister in law counted her days wrong so I think I said 62 days last week but it's 66 days and I am ready to start packing! If you are new and don't know about my trip, you can read about it here!

I am at a loss for ideas lately so I am going to link up until I have some exciting stuff to talk about!

1. Are you fond of cooking?

Yes!!! I love to cook and bake! I do both of them almost every single day!

2. What kind of food do you prefer eating when you are out?

Anything with chicken or shrimp!

3. Which so you prefer sweet or salty?

Both and I love them together!!!

4. Where is the last place you ate out at?

Red Lobster....I had their new Pecan Crusted Shrimp with a Cherry Maple Glaze! They were delicious!!!!

5. What's for dinner tonight?

I had breaded tilapia with rice and a salad. I am not a big fan of fish but I will eat tilapia. This was delicious and it came from Sam's Club in the frozen section.

Top 2 Strange Addictions:

1. My phone! My family calls it my oxygen supply and they say that I have trouble breathing when it is not in my hand! They are totally over exaggerating! I never go anywhere without my phone and it is normally in my hand. It is like a mini-computer and I am not sure how I survived without it before. I am also addicted to Twitter and Facebook.....which I use my phone to check most of the time!

2. Magazines! I am a hoarder when it comes to magazines! I love them and I can't get enough of them! I buy them all....US Weekly, People, In Touch, Self, Shape, Food Network, Redbook, Good Housekeeping, Rachel Ray, Paula Deen, Glamour, Better Homes and Gardens, Southern Living.....ALL OF THEM!!!

I went to Walmart today and came home with these!

The sad thing is I hardly ever read them unless I am very interested, I only look at the pictures!

Well, I am very tired so I am going to put the pj's on and watch The Social Network! I hope you all have a great night and stay safe if you are in the middle of a snow storm!!!

miscellany monday!

Shew! This has definitely been a miscellaneous day so I thought it would be perfect for me to link up with lowercase letters for miscellany monday!

Today is Oreo's 12th Birthday! I got her when I was 12, so today I have had her half my life. She has been the most wonderful "dog" (don't tell her! she doesn't know this yet!) ever! I am not sure what any of us in my house will do when she travels to doggie heaven :( We never thought she would make it to 12 years old because that is uncommon for a Great Dane but we are so happy for everyday we have with her!

It is snowing!!!!! A huge snow storm hit the south last night. We got around 3 inches here in Tennessee. We didn't get as much snow as everyone else because are temperatures are ALOT colder. It is still snowing here though, so I am hoping that tomorrow will be another snow day!

I started the morning out with a long to-do list in hopes that I would get everything checked off. Well I didn't! I did get a lot accomplished though! I did 3 loads of laundry and ironed all of it. I am trying a new approach to ironing. I absolutely hate to iron but refuse to go anywhere wrinkled. I am going to attempt to iron everything before I put it in my closet so that it will be ready to wear when I grab it. We will see how it goes! I also cleaned out a drawer, cleaned out my closet, filled some bags with clothes to donate and caught up on the shows I missed last night....thanks dvr! I didn't get everything accomplished but I did get a lot so I am happy!!!

I am praying for another snow day tomorrow so I can accomplish the rest of my list!!!

Ok fellow students, I am trying to stay organized this semester and not be a total slacker! What do ya'll do to stay organized and keep up with everything???? If it works for you please tell me about it....that's what we are here for right? To help each other out!

As I write this I am watching the Bachelor for the 1st time this season. I think he is adorable....I don't even know his name :( I think that he is very cute and soooo very sweet! The date he just took that girl on was amazing....are there any men like that in Tennessee????

I am working on my 101 in 1001 list and it is a lot harder than I thought. I am almost done with the list. my actual start date was January 1st because there are already a few things I have accomplished. One thing on my list is that I want to start reading books and try to read one book every month. What books do you all recommend???

It's a new year and time to shed those holiday pounds! I especially need to shed mine by March, in time for my trip. Do you all have any tricks? Do you keep a food journal? Watch what you eat? Diet? Workout? I need to be bikini ready!!!

That is enough procrastination for tonight, it is now time to get back to the laundry!

Meet Me On Monday

Happy Snowy Monday Ya'll!!!

It was a snow day in TN! I was so happy to have a snow day and get a chance to get a few things done. I made my to-do list this morning and I am still working hard on it. So far I have done 3 loads of laundry and ironed ALL of it! I was also able to catch up on some shows I missed....thank God for DVR! While ironing I watched Desperate Housewives and Brothers & Sisters from last night. It's time for Meet Me on Monday with Never Growing Old and then back to my list!

Well, when I was a baby I won 1st place in the Most Beautiful Baby in Bristol contest. Does that count???? I think so!

Are your toes always painted?

During the summer, Yes! Not always in the winter because no one sees them and that is one less thing I have to keep up with! During the summer I either have them painted a color or a french manicure.

I have very dark brown eyes and I love them!

Soft cookies or crunchy cookies?

Both! Is that weird? I like them either way. I love soft warm cookies right out of the oven but I also like them the next day when they are crunchy.

Well that's all! I have to go finish my to-do list because I am determined to get everything done today!

Disney Dream!

I was planning on waiting a couple of days to post about my spring break trip but I couldn't wait...

in 62 days I will be sailing away on this...

The Disney Dream!

This beautiful ship arrived in Port Canaveral today after traveling 6,500 miles from Germany. I thought there was no better time to tell ya'll about my trip since the ship is home and ready to sail. We have been on several cruises and Disney cruises before but I am especially excited about this trip because the boat is brand new and because of this...

I cannot wait to put my bathing suit on and jump on this waterslide! It is completely see-through and extends out over the ocean! So excited!

While on the cruise, we will be visiting one of my favorite places in the world...

We will be swimming with the dolphins in Dolphin Cay and then spending the rest of the day at the water park!

We are traveling to Florida that week to watch my brother drag race. So, the week before we board the ship we will stay in the motorcoach and Disney's Wilderness resort...

Christmas Vacation!

Happy Monday ya'll!

It feels like forever since I have blogged. Christmas was wild and crazy but wonderful! Today was my first day back to reality and I am ready for the new year. It was a rough couple of weeks with family, holiday craziness, death of a friend and this cold I have been struggling with for 2 weeks. Christmas was spent with family from Texas and we had so much fun! I must admit though, I am ready for 2011!!! I am so excited to see what the new year has in store for me!

I will be posting my list of 101 in 1001 in the nest few days. My list started on 1-1-11 and I can't wait to share it with ya'll. This list is going to help me with my fresh start that I talked about here. I am looking forward to 2011 and all it will bring! We just confirmed our Spring Break trip and I am thrilled...63 days!!!..I will share the details with you soon. Here is a hint...
